MusiKOS - A Franco-German project with the Amadeus music school
Music strengthens the bonds between communities and promotes social inclusion.
In 2025, the MusiKOS project will contribute to the preservation and development of Kosovo’s musical heritage by ensuring that it reflects the diversity of its population.

The MusiKOS project, or “Fostering Musical Talent and Cultural Diversity: Empowering Kosovo’s Youth through Inclusive Music Education and Performance”, aims to develop the talent of young Kosovar musicians.
Auditions will be held across the country to select the most talented students, with a focus on children from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. They will receive intensive individual and orchestral training throughout the year. They will also benefit from mentorship by professional musicians from France and Germany, showing them that an international music career is possible.
At the end of the year, the students, gathered as an orchestra, will perform in a concert that celebrates the rich French, German, and Kosovar repertoire.
MusiKOS is supported by the Institut Français du Kosovo, Goethe-Zentrum Prishtina, and Amadeus, the association connected to the music school of the same name.
Inauguration of the project - January 22nd, the Franco-German cooperation day
On January 22, 2025, the project was launched at Amadeus School in the presence of the Ambassador of France to Kosovo, Olivier Guérot, the Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kosovo, Matthias Conrad, and the Director of Amadeus School, Hana Petrovci.
